Nothing says grilling season to me like the perfect grilled pork chops. Here’s my killer recipe that has a little heat mixed with some sweetness. It’s always important to get that perfect sear. High heat is always key when it comes to that. Mazola Corn Oil is perfect for grilling marinades. Mazola has a high smoke point (450˚ F), great for grilling and stir frying at high temperatures.
Here’s what you need…
Ingredients:
Marinade:
• 4 cloves of garlic, minced
• 3 green onions, sliced
• 1 tbsp. of red pepper flakes
• 1 tsp. of salt
• 1 tsp. of black pepper
• 3 tbsps. of Mazola Corn Oil
• 2 lbs. of pork chops
• 2 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
Glaze:
• 3 tbsps. of honey
• 1 tbsp. of sriracha
• Juice of 1 small lime (about 1 tbsp.)
• 1 in. piece of ginger, minced
Here’s what you do:
2. Transfer the bag to the fridge and marinate for at least 30 min.
3. Turn on your grill and heat up to 450-500 degrees.
4. Grill your chops for 5-8 minutes on each side or until their internal temperature is 140 degrees.
5. Let the chops rest for about 5 minutes. This will also allow the chops to continue to cook up to 145 degrees while they rest.
6. Serve and enjoy!
