Pardon the Punctuation...I recently picked up a bottle of 2009 Chateau Chevalier form the spring mountain district in Napa. Chateau Chevalier is a secondary label from famed Spring Mountain Vineyard that is only available in select stores like Total Wine. For $29.99 this is a killer deal for a great Napa wine that pairs well with food. It drinks like a $50 and up Napa wine. Hell of a deal if you ask me. Starts off Spicy on the palate. After about thirty minutes of decanting the true wine appears. Cocoa, chocolate, and cola were prominent on my palate with a long finish. The perfect wine to bring to a dinner party where everyone will be asking where you got it and how they can get their hands on some.
