Subbing ground beef for sweet Italian sausage in this dish is a game-changer. The flavor is unparalleled. I can't wait to try using this sweet Italian sausage in my chili recipe!
Here's what you need:
1 lb Johnsonville Ground Italian Sausage
1 Egg Beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dry oregano
1 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper
Chopped parsley
1 18oz jar of pasta sauce.
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Mix all ingredients minus the parsley and pasta sauce with your hands.
Form into golfball-sized meatballs.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
In a dutch oven add the cooked meatballs and the pasta sauce and bring to a simmer for a couple of minutes.
Add chopped parsley and serve
